Mail Order with Retail Choice - These benefits include the mail delivery program for certain covered maintenance drugs. When the member buys any one of these maintenance drugs from a covered retail pharmacy, this health plan provides retail pharmacy benefits for up to two fills of the same drug within a 365-day period. In order to receive coverage for more fills of the same drug from a covered retail pharmacy, the member will be asked to decide whether to continue to receive drug fills from the retail pharmacy or from the covered mail service pharmacy. If a selection is not made before buying a third fill, the covered mail service pharmacy will automatically qualify as the member's choice. No retail pharmacy coverage will be provided for more than two fills of the same drug unless the retail pharmacy option has been chosen. To find out which drugs are included on the approved Maintenance medication drug list, the member may call the Blue Cross Blue Shield customer service office.
