Additional Wellness Reimbursement Benefit for Qualified Employees - This additional benefit is available only for an enrolled employee who satisfies the employer group's requirements. For a qualified employee, Blue Cross Blue Shield, on behalf of the employer group, will reimburse up to $100 per calendar year for the costs to participate in approved health-related activities. These activities may include: health and wellness classes not offered at a gym (such as: yoga, pilates, zumba, and core fusion); personal training sessions; boot camp programs; martial arts programs; smoking cessation programs; nutritional counseling (not covered by the health plan); weight loss programs; at-home fitness instructions; gym equipment; and other health-related activities approved by the employer group. For information about how to become eligible for this additional Wellness Reimbursement Benefit or for questions about approved health-related activities, the employee must contact the employer group.
