This health plan includes the Blue Distinction Program. Under this program, covered services for the types of specialty care listed below must be furnished in a Blue Distinction Center in order for the member to receive the maximum health plan coverage.

Special Note: Under this program, if the member is admitted directly from the emergency room into a hospital that is not a Blue Distinction Center, the member will pay the same cost share amount that he or she would pay at a Blue Distinction Center.
